Production Associate

About the role

Microvast (NASDAQ: MVST) designs, develops and manufactures lithium‑ion battery solutions, integrating core battery chemistry to pack assembly. The Production Associate will work on the assembly line at the Clarksville, TN facility, cross‑trained on all stations and battery assembly machinery, performing mechanical connections, electrical harnesses, PCBA installation, and operational tests on battery packs. The position is located onsite in Clarksville, TN and requires the ability to commute or relocate to the area.

Responsibilities

• Work with a safety mindset for yourself and coworkers.
• Strive for the highest quality and suggest process improvements.
• Operate battery pack assembly equipment and machinery.
• Check inventory counts to ensure correct materials on hand.
• Use tools and machinery to assemble products.
• Use overhead hoists, pallet jacks, and carts to move and stage materials.
• Use a forklift to load packs safely and efficiently.
• Inspect products for accuracy and uniformity.
• Operate tests and quality checks on battery packs.
• Report on daily output.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED certificate.
• Electronics, automotive electrical, or battery assembly experience preferred.
• Manual dexterity.
• Blueprint reading skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Forklift and overhead crane experience a plus.
• Battery handling, assembly, and testing experience a plus.
