Production Associate

About the role

As a Production Associate, you'll work with your hands on a variety of wood processing centers. Your daily tasks will vary, and you'll get to move around throughout the day while working closely with a team. No experience? No problem. We'll set you up for success with supportive, hands-on training. This role could be just the beginning of a meaningful career, with endless opportunities for promotion.

Highlights of your role

• Sort, stack and grade wood based on size and grade of material
• Operate chop saws, compound miter saws, and other equipment
• Work closely with your supervisor to troubleshoot any mechanical or material issues
• Cross-train in multiple departments, adding variety to your workday and more money to your paycheck

Schedule

• Monday – Thursday, Days: 4:15 am – 2:40 pm, Pay: $20.00 per hour
• Monday – Thursday, Evenings: 2:30 p.m. – 1:00 a.m., Pay: $21.00 per hour

All shifts require mandatory overtime.

You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)

• Learn to accurately read and use a calibrated tape measure
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Excellent attendance and the ability to be on time
• Ability to work a physical job for 10 hours per day

Also want to make sure you have

• Previous manufacturing experience or assembly experience is a plus
• A high school diploma is strongly preferred
