About the role
A member of the Production Department within the food service division at Lyons Magnus, an international food and beverage manufacturer. The Production Associate is responsible for measuring ingredients, operating and setting up production equipment, bottling or canning finished goods, and accurately documenting lot codes, quality checks, and cleaning activities. This position reports to the Production Manager.
Responsibilities
- Measure/prep ingredients as directed in the recipe.
- Cook or blend product specifications as required on the recipe.
- Document all lot code and quality checks using RedZone and Microsoft Dynamics AX (DAX).
- Set up equipment (fillers, cappers, kettles, pumps, piping, etc.) & run assembly lines.
- Bottle/can finish goods to product specification.
- Ensure food safety throughout the facility (GMP’s) as per SQF guidelines.
- Cleaning of the facility inside and the grounds outside.
- Clean and sanitize work areas and equipment as per SQF guidelines.
- Perform tasks as required to comply with the master sanitation plan for the facility including operating the facility floor scrubber, foaming equipment and/or walls, mopping, or other cleaning duties.
- Maintain workspace in a clean and organized manner.
- Documentation of cleaning results and issues that may arise.
- Active participation in the LME safety program.
- Abide by all internal policies, including GMP, attendance, and productivity.
- Complete job-related training in the timeframe allotted.
- Other functions and duties as directed by management.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to follow directions.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
- Maintain a high level of productivity in complying with the position requirements.
- Documentation is up-to-date and accurate.
- Work is finished timely, and results meet or exceed the manager’s expectations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accurate documentation.
- Flexible work schedule and ability to work weekends and some holidays (schedule may change at any time, upon management discretion).
- Strict adherence to the Lyons Magnus attendance policy.
Pay
$20.00 per hour
Schedule
- 1st Shift: 4:00 AM - 2:00 PM
- 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM - 12:00 AM
- Monday - Friday + occasional Saturdays
- Must be willing to work overtime and weekends.

Additional Information
- This is an in-house temporary position aligned with a temp-to-hire process. While a permanent role may become available, conversion is not guaranteed and will depend on business needs, performance, and attendance.
