Production Associate
About the role
As a Production Associate at Kerry, you will be an integral part of our manufacturing team, contributing to the production of high-quality food and nutrition products. This role is vital to our mission of delivering sustainable nutrition solutions while ensuring operational efficiency and product excellence.
Responsibilities
- Operate machinery and equipment on the production line to ensure efficient manufacturing processes.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and production processes to maintain safety and quality.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety regulations.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors promptly.
- Add bag/tote to the fill head.
- Operate the bagger/ tote system to bring powder into the tote/bag.
- Ensure bags are properly sealed going through the heat sealer.
- Verify weights of bags/totes prior to GRing to good product.
- Perform Metal checks accurately.
- Disassemble and clean all equipment from in packaging rooms.
- Ability to change comil and sifter screens accurately.
- Scrape product build up in dryer.
Qualifications and skills
- Experience working in a manufacturing facility or factory setting is preferred.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control standards.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues.
- Problem solving ability and aptitude for learning and professional growth.
- Previous experience in process operation in which has been demonstrated a high degree of competence and understanding of process equipment.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs repeatedly
Pay
The pay range for this position is $25.85-29.74 per hour. Kerry typically does not hire an individual at the top or near the top of the range, as we are a pay-for-performance company, and this range is set to continue to reward performance annually while in role.
