About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Production Associate to join our Production team. This role will support the sourcing team in managing the pre-production and production stages of the garment lifecycle, from concept through finished goods delivery. Responsibilities include vendor communication, sample management, reporting, and production coordination. The ideal candidate has strong organizational and analytical skills, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and partners effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate product execution.
Responsibilities
- Create and manage Work in Process (WIP) reports to track development progress and garment delivery timelines.
- Coordinate Buy Charts for monthly Buy Meetings with Sales and Design teams and provide production status updates to management.
- Maintain accurate production data and coordinate with the G-III China Sourcing Office.
- Drive the daily product development process through ongoing communication with global vendors and overseas offices.
- Identify development or production issues, partner with management on resolutions, and communicate approvals within established timelines.
- Track and manage samples for Public Relations, Global Sales, and special requests.
- Manage purchase orders, prepare initial costing, and support Seasonal Production Validation meetings.
- Partner with Design, Product Development, Technical Design, and Sourcing throughout the product development lifecycle, from tech pack submission through Top of Production (TOP) samples.
- Utilize AS400, Gerber WebPDM, and/or Yunique PLM systems to manage product lifecycle activities and maintain accurate records.
- Complete special projects and additional responsibilities that support sourcing and production initiatives.
Qualifications
- 2–4 years of apparel production experience in a SKU-intensive environment required.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional work experience required.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP functions.
- Working knowledge of Gerber WebPDM, Yunique PLM, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Experience using AS400 preferred; willingness to learn required.
- Strong project management, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to build strong cross-functional and vendor relationships.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $65,000 – $70,000 per year.
