Production Associate

Foremost Farms USA is one of the largest, leading dairy cooperatives in the United States and a major dairy food and ingredients manufacturing business. We represent hundreds of Midwest dairy farmer members located in seven Midwest states, and we produce about 500 million pounds of cheese and 50 million pounds of butter in plants across our network every year. "We Bring Dairy to Life" in seven manufacturing plants across Wisconsin and Michigan and in our headquarters in Middleton (Madison), Wisconsin.

About the Role

Join Foremost Farms as a Production Associate at our Lancaster, Wisconsin location and play an integral part of bringing dairy to life. This is a full-time, non-exempt position.

Pay

Starting pay: $28.08 per hour, increasing to $29.28 after 3 months. Additional pay details:

• Shift premium: $1.75 per hour for working between 6 pm–6 am
• Sunday pay: 2x pay for work performed on Sundays
• Holiday pay: 2x pay for holidays
• Overtime pay: 1.5x pay for hours worked over 40 in a week or over 8 hours per day

Schedule

Availability required for first, second, and third shifts. Holiday and weekend work is required on a rotating basis.

Responsibilities

• Produce a safe and quality product
• Troubleshoot production issues and escalate them to appropriate team members
• Apply training on HACCP, GMPs, safety, manufacturing processes, and loss control programs to perform work duties
• Participate in a team environment

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years or older
• Able to read and comprehend the English language
• Ability to do basic math (addition and subtraction)
• Must be able to tell time on an analog or digital clock
• Ability to use computers and touch-screen technology
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be detail-oriented
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced work environment
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays on a rotating schedule

• Previous manufacturing experience
