About the role

As a Production Associate, you will support the production operations of our fiber processing facility. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in a dynamic and growing industry.

Responsibilities

• Work with the team on tasks such as moving materials and operating machinery.
• Maintain a neat and safe work area through regular cleaning.
• Move materials carefully to avoid damage and ensure high quality.
• Learn to operate machines and follow all safety rules.
• Follow Assembly Work Instructions and Common Defect Guidelines provided by management.
• Monitor materials and processes for problems and report issues to supervisors.
• Adhere to safety rules and wear proper PPE to protect yourself and others.
• Collaborate with your team and other departments to meet production goals.

Work Environment

This position is performed in a warehouse setting with exposure to loud machinery. Hearing protection and other PPE must be worn in accordance with company safety policies. The environment may involve temperature fluctuations and moving mechanical parts.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in manufacturing or production, with familiarity in both machinery operation and manual labor.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products.
• Physical stamina and ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

Schedule

• Shift 1: Day Shift (8 hours) – Monday to Friday: 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM or 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
• Shift 2: Evening Shift (8 hours) – Monday to Friday: 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM or 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM
• Shift 3: Night Shift (8 hours) – Sunday to Thursday: 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM

While we primarily operate on two shifts, shift times are subject to change based on business needs, including the potential addition of a third shift as needed. Flexibility in scheduling is required to support operational demands.
