Production Associate

About the role

The Production Associate supports Equator’s operations by fulfilling orders accurately and timely. Reporting to the Production & Fulfillment Manager, this role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a fast-paced team to fulfill wholesale and retail orders accurately and efficiently
• Learn to use and successfully operate the weigh and fill machines, band sealers, scales, grinders, label applicators, and label printers
• Learn the operation of the Entrada E2 Portion Pack machine
• Restock inventory
• Communicate with team members on a regular basis to ensure accurate fulfillment and production
• Show initiative, present a positive & professional attitude, be adaptable, and a willingness to learn and take direction

Preferred Skills, Knowledge & Abilities

• Familiarity with fulfillment, shipping, receiving, and general warehouse work
• Coffee knowledge is a plus

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of standing (or being on one's feet for up to 8 hours)
• Walking, bending, stooping, climbing ladders, and crouching throughout the shift
• Lifting products and packaging overhead and handling items weighing between 25 and 70 pounds
• Adept finger and wrist dexterity
