About the role
The Production Associate performs duties according to the established Best Practices of ESGW and meets daily production goals.
Responsibilities
- Process donations
- Sort and prepare merchandise for sale
- Replenish stock and/or remove merchandise from the sales floor
- Greet and assist guests and/or donors
- Assist with accepting donations at the donation door as needed and/or assigned
- Be cross‑trained and assist in all aspects of production as directed
Requirements
- Stand, stoop, bend, and carry for the entire shift (excluding break times)
- Use hands for simple grasping, pushing and pulling, and fine manipulation
- Tolerate extreme changes in temperature and humidity
- Ability to move independently or with reasonable accommodation within the facility and community
- Physically and mentally able to perform all job requirements
- Completion of a background check (criminal convictions do not automatically bar employment)
Qualifications
- Ability to work with people having different abilities
- Able to perform repetitive tasks independently
- Knowledge of current trends helpful
