Production Associate

About the role

The Production Associate performs duties according to the established Best Practices of ESGW. Meets daily production goals. Duties will include processing donations; sorting and preparing merchandise for sale, replenishing stock and/or removing merchandise from the sales floor. Greets and assists guests and/or donors. Assists with accepting donations at the donation door as needed and/or assigned. Must be cross-trained and assist in all aspects of production, as directed. Ability to work with people having different abilities.

Responsibilities

• Processes donations
• Sorts and prepares merchandise for sale
• Replenishes stock and/or removes merchandise from the sales floor
• Greets and assists guests and/or donors
• Affords assistance with accepting donations at the donation door as needed and/or assigned
• Maintains cross-training and assists in all aspects of production, as directed

Requirements

• Able to perform repetitive tasks independently
• Knowledge of current trends helpful
• Requires standing, stooping, bending, and carrying for entire shift (excluding break times)
• Requires the use of hands for simple grasping, pushing and pulling, and fine manipulation
• Tolerance to extreme changes in temperature and humidity
• Ability to move independently or with reasonable accommodation within the facility and community

Qualifications

• Physically and mentally able to perform all job requirements
