Production Associate

About the role

Duro-Last Roofing is the world’s largest manufacturer of prefabricated roofing systems, and this position is open for a Production Associate. Tip Top Screw and Oscoda Plastics, both part of the Duro-Last umbrella, are established manufacturing companies based in Oscoda, Michigan.

Responsibilities

- Assist fellow team members in making a high-quality product, free of defects, to fulfill customers' needs and expectations. - While working with a qualified trainer, learn all the basic level tasks including how to operate all machines (shredder cell, cut-down, roof-tac welding, mixing, roll-cutting, heat treat, etc.) and all procedures. - Accurately complete all required production paperwork. - Keep work area clean and neat to ensure there are no safety hazards and that the area is presentable for guests. - All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

- High School Diploma or GED is required. - At least 18 years of age. - Able to work in a team and have initiative to get the job done. - Must be able to pass a pre-hire drug screen, physical, and background check. - Bend, push, carry, lift up to 50 pounds. - Available to work up to a 12-hour shift and weekends when necessary. - Must be available to work any shift. - Previous manufacturing experience is highly desired.

Qualifications

- Must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators.
