Production Associate
About the role
Maintains safety as a priority while operating and maintaining production equipment and processes.
Responsibilities
- Reports directly to the assigned Supervisor and indirectly to Module Team Leaders.
- Understands and practices skills such as Safety, Housekeeping, Quality (internal and external).
- Acts actively involved in 5S, proper machine operation, and adheres to documented procedures and instructions like Standard Operating Procedures, Rework Instructions, Work Instructions, Preventive Maintenance Instructions, Inspection Instructions, Reaction Plans, and Process Set-up Instructions.
- Reviews and verifies the quality of products at assigned processes and provides feedback to Module Team Leader, Quality Specialists, etc., to keep everyone informed about the process.
- Rotates to appropriate operations as assigned by Module Team Leader or Crew Manager.
- Facilitates communications between operations within assigned Module, between Modules, and between Crews.
- Provides relief to other employees as required.
- Affords assistance to Utility Specialist with changeovers/setups at required operations.
- Completes Operation Productivity & Scrap sheets and verifies accuracy of Total pieces good and Total pieces scrap, and provides feedback on process, operations, and downtime.
