About the role
This position is responsible for performing all types of general labor work.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for own personal safety at all times
- Completion of MSHA Part 48 New Task Training for working in each department
- Operation of bobcat to assist in various clean-up efforts
- Working rotating shifts and overtime as needed to cover operations
- Able to climb, sweep, shovel, and hand stack pallets
- Must be able to be trained in bagging and milling departments
- Maintain and grease associated equipment in each department
- Complete and properly document workplace inspections
- Responsible for quality control of products and taking samples as required
- Load customer orders correctly and maintain quality of products loaded on trucks
- Maintain clean assigned working area
- Maintain environmental standards
- Able and willing to work safely at heights
- Able and willing to work safely in confined spaces
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Must submit to a drug screen and criminal background check
- Able to work independently with attention to detail
- Hours are extended throughout the year to include nights and weekends when necessary
- Travel may be required
- Able to follow direction and work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to effectively prioritize assignments to meet long-term and short-term deadlines
- Excellent organizational skills
- Mobility to attend various meetings and events at offsite locations
