Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities
- Assemble parts or units, and position, align, adjust, and fasten units to assemblies, subassemblies, or frames, using hands, hand tools and power tools in a timely manner.
- Maintain high standards despite pressing deadlines.
- Does work right the first time; corrects own errors; regularly produces accurate, thorough work.
- Regularly meets production goals and deadlines set daily.
- Rotate among various assembly stations in order to give and receive training and gain general knowledge and experience on multiple workstations.
- Display cooperation and willingness to work where needed.
- May be assigned to various production tasks, as needed, to facilitate cross training and to cover daily needs.
- Follow all prescribed safety and housekeeping guidelines.
- Visually inspect, test, and adjust unit to ensure that parts meet specifications and customer order requirements.
- Perform set-up of parts and materials for assembly line.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read, communicate and comprehend written and verbal procedures and instructions in.
- Previous experience in assembly preferred.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
Working Conditions/Physical Demands
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and perform routine tasks that may be repetitive at times.
- Ability to use hands to finger, handle, feel, and hold.
- Ability to frequently walk, reach with hands at arms’ length, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
Pay
New York Pay: $17.25 - $17.25 USD
