Production Associate

Order Picking

• Drive an order picker to prep the windshield or body glass crate for loading.
• Select and pick orders using an RF Modulated scanner.
• Print a content label to apply to the crate after completion.

Packaging Glass

• Open crates or metal racks using a drill, saw, or cut the crate open.
• Build and assemble boxes to fit the glass, fill with dunnage or foam.
• Tape the box or container with a tape gun.
• Apply a label to the box or envelope.
• Stack onto a pallet.

Quality Auditing

• Count all parts in the crate or shipping container to ensure quantity matches the content label.
• Closure the crate with staples, bands, or shrink wrap for shipment.
• Audit all containers to verify that serial numbers and quantities match the container list for the truck load.

Loading/Unloading Trailers

• Drive a forklift to inspect and load/unload trailers.
• Lift, move, and stack crates or racks of glass onto or off of trailers.
• Scan each container to the trailer or warehouse location using an RF Modulated scanner.
• Use nail guns, crow bars, hammers, and other hand or pneumatic tools frequently.

Replenishment/Transfer of Glass

• Drive a forklift or standup reach truck to transfer parts between locations.
• Prepare crates for placement in pick racks.
• Use crow bars, hammers, and other hand or power tools frequently.
