Production Associate

Part-time regular position, 15-20 hrs./week. Must be available Tuesday and Thursday mornings for at least 2 hours.

About the role

The Production Associate supports daily operations in a biologics vaccine manufacturing facility by assisting with the preparation and packaging of vaccines under strict quality and safety guidelines. Responsibilities include operating and cleaning packaging equipment, documenting processes accurately, and ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). This role requires attention to detail, the ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), and a commitment to product integrity and safety.

Responsibilities

• Assist facility supervisors, managers, scientists, and technicians with daily production tasks as assigned, primarily in labeling, packaging, and warehouse.
• Maintain accurate records, such as temperature logs on equipment.
• Report malfunctioning or out-of-spec equipment to maintenance and facility supervisors.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and principles when working with hazardous materials or equipment.
• Provide feedback to facility supervisors on inventory levels of frequently used materials.
• Assist with cleaning and organization of all labeling, packaging, warehouse, and support areas.
