Production Associate

About the Role

Atlas Molded Products specializes in the development and manufacture of innovative, high-performance molded polystyrene for architectural insulation, geofoam, protective packaging, cold chain packaging, and industrial OEM applications. We are seeking Production Associates for our Murray, UT facility.

Responsibilities

• Report to Manager at shift start for direction for the day.
• Demonstrate a general understanding of manufacturing processes, quality standards, equipment operations, safety requirements, and departmental procedures.
• Inspect and package parts according to specification pages and record required information on in-process sheets.
• Bundle, wrap, stack, pack, assemble, and/or label materials per specific production instructions.
• Operate side-wrappers and pallet jacks.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Operate Pre-breakers/Re-Grinding equipment to recycle EPS.
• Adhere to general safety training and protocols.

Requirements

• Prior experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken) preferred.
• Ability to use simple math, count, and use basic hand-held measuring tools.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.

Physical Demands

• Light to moderate physical effort required, including sitting, standing, walking, kneeling, squatting, climbing steps or ladders, grasping, fine and coarse manipulation, and reaching both forward and above head level.
• Must tolerate temperature changes for the entire shift.
• Able to push, pull, and/or lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must safely operate assigned machinery.
