Responsibilities
- Perform assembly of components and install into enclosures.
- Will be required to use a variety of power saws, routers and drills.
- Performing routine maintenance and cleaning of work area and tools on daily and weekly basis.
- Recording and reporting production data and performance indicators.
- Will be required to lift up to 50 pounds individually and team lift up to 120 pounds.
- Will need to be able to work independently after being trained.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- At least 18 years of age
- 5 years of previous experience in a manufacturing environment
Qualifications
- Proficient with measuring devices, tape measures, square, rulers, calipers, etc.
- Ability to read and understand drawings and blueprints
- Carpentry skills
- Computer skills
- Critical thinking abilities
- Proficiency with hand tools
- Comfortable using power saws, routers, and drills
- Mechanical aptitude
- Problem-solving skills
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new skills to help in other departments as needed
- Flexibility to work overtime, weekends
- Stamina to stand and walk for 8-to-10-hour shifts
- Ability to be forklift certified
