Production Associate- 3rd shift- NATEC

About the role

Ornua is seeking a Production Associate to join the Ornua Family as we continue our growth trajectory. This position will play a key role in assisting the IWS (individual Wrap Slice) operator with over wrap machine and fill oil changes.

Responsibilities

• Package finished product including box making, lining, filling, closing, and palletizing.
• Inspect cheese products, packing and boxes for damage, report deficiencies to proper parties.
• Complete all necessary cleaning and workplace sanitation requirements.
• Record production information in a tablet, computer or by hand.
• Attend all required company training.
• Perform all tasks in a busy environment with limited supervision.
• Perform duties following all good manufacturing practices (GMP’s) including food, equipment, and operating safety requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to communicate in English.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Previous manufacturing experience.
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
• Previous machine operating experience.

Qualifications

• Physical demands: Regular standing, walking, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 60 pounds. Repetitive motions and safe operation of equipment while following safety and quality procedures.
• Working environment: Food manufacturing facility with variable temperatures, cooler warehouse areas, and warmer production zones. Exposure to moving equipment, moderate to loud noise levels, and required use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety shoes, hearing protection, gloves, and hairnets.

Pay

$23.57 per hour, based on an hourly rate of $20.50 plus 15%.

Schedule

Sunday - Thursday, 10 pm – 6 am, with overtime as necessary.
