Production Associate - 2nd Shift

About the role

Use required pneumatic and hand tools to assemble product per Company and customer specifications. Understand associated parts and their relationship to the end product. Facilitate all aspects of the assembly process.

Responsibilities

• Organize all aspects of the assembly process
• Perform inspection on product utilizing total quality concepts
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment as needed
• Accurately report daily activities and production data as directed
• Conduct required quality checks using basic measurement equipment
• Keep work areas clean and free of safety hazards
• Exercise safe working habits while operating machines
• Interact with technical support personnel and support downtime activities
• Possess a high level of attention to details
• Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of safety culture, participating in safety training sessions, and promptly reporting any safety concerns
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor/Coordinator

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED required
• Prior production assembly experience, 1-2 years preferred
• Ability to interpret production schedules and build specifications
• Ability to work overtime as production demands require
• Ability to utilize torque wrenches according to specifications
• Must pass drug and alcohol screen and remain drug-free throughout employment
• Must follow all safety practices and policies

Physical Demands

• Constant standing, walking, reaching, balancing, cervical spine motion, lower extremities, and simple grasp
• Frequent use of firm grasping, fine manipulation, and pitching
• Frequent forward bending, squatting, kneeling, and climbing
• Lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs

Environmental Conditions

• Non-temperature-controlled manufacturing facility
• Must wear eye, ear, and foot protection

Pay

$20.40–$21.40 per hour
