Production Associate | 2nd Shift

About the role

Custom Wire Technologies, Inc., a leader in OEM Medical Component Manufacturing with over 50 years of industry experience, is seeking a Production Associate. In this role you will help manufacture products that save lives, working in a quality‑first environment.

Responsibilities

• Know the status of each step of multiple jobs you are supporting in the manufacturing process.
• Review and understand work orders, job routing information, and process instructions for each job.
• Observe and operate machines, making necessary minor adjustments.
• Report major machine problems.
• Set up, run, and inspect assemblies, including final packaging and ready‑for‑ship processes.
• Conduct secondary operations as needed, such as assembly, packaging, trimming, cutting, and/or grinding.
• Examine and test for quality, recording part counts and product dimensions.

Requirements

• Understanding of company mission and production processes.
• Ability to secure knowledge and properly use tools and equipment promptly.
• Physical ability to stand and walk for up to 4 hours and occasionally lift up to 25 lb.
• Strong detail orientation and good eyesight (aided or unaided) for working with very small components.
• Ability to quickly learn basic measurements required for production and quality tasks.
• Detail‑oriented, meticulous, and able to follow directions with minimal supervision.

Schedule

2nd Shift, Full‑Time: Monday through Friday, 2 pm – 10 pm. Occasional overtime may be required, with commensurate pay.
