Production Associate - 2nd shift

Duties And Responsibilities

• Affixes tags/labels to finished products.
• Performs quality checks to ensure proper dimensions and weight.
• Detects and reports any faulty operations or defective materials.
• Moves or carries parts, equipment, or materials as needed.
• Reads and interprets production orders.
• Wraps and unwraps materials as necessary.
• Carries out housekeeping duties in work areas.
• Operates a sit-down forklift.
• Achieves production goals while adhering to safety protocols.

Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to operate a forklift safely.
• Training and certification provided regardless of previous experience.
• Ability to read and understand documents.
• Basic math, reading, and writing skills.
• Good communication, organization, and time management skills.

Education And Experience

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.

Physical Requirements

• Lifting or carrying: 1-10 lbs occasionally, 11-20 lbs frequently, 21-40 lbs occasionally, 41-50 lbs occasionally, 51 lbs or more occasionally.
• Pushing or pulling: 1-40 lbs occasionally, 41-50 lbs occasionally.
• Bending or stooping: Continuously.
• Reaching above shoulder level: Occasionally.
• Driving automatic equipment vehicles: Not applicable.
• Operating machinery or power tools: Continuously.
• Climbing: Not applicable.
• Walking: Continuously.

• Working in extreme temperatures: Occasional exposure.

Work Location

The position is performed onsite at our facility located at 1005 Tonne Road, Elk Grove Village, IL 60007.
