Production Associate- 1st shift

About the role

The Production Associate will rotate through various roles on the production line, packaging finished products, inspecting cheese products, and performing duties following GMPs. The position also includes responsibilities for the Mixer, Blender Operator, Cheese Grinder, and Forklift Operator positions.

Responsibilities

• Packaging finished product including box making, lining, filling, closing, and palletizing.
• Inspecting cheese products, packing, and boxes for damage and reporting deficiencies.
• Maintaining cleanliness and workplace sanitation.
• Recording production information on tablets, scanners, computers, or by hand.
• Identifying and troubleshooting variations in cheese manufacturing processes.
• Performing heavy lifting and operating equipment with attention to accuracy.
• Operating forklifts, setting up batches, and performing maintenance checks.
• Assisting with breaks and other tasks as needed.
• Communicating effectively with the cooker operator.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to communicate in English
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)

Qualifications

• Physical demands include regular standing, walking, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 60 pounds.
• Working environment includes variable temperatures, exposure to moving equipment, moderate to loud noise levels, and required PPE.

Pay

$20.50 per hour

Schedule

Monday – Thursday, 6 am – 4 pm, Overtime as necessary
