Production Assistant - PVC - A Crew

Core Responsibilities

• Contributes to accident free operations and compliance to all health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements and regulations.
• Aid the department in producing a quality product based upon product specifications.
• Maintain and execute quality checks to ensure the products (color, surface, size, etc.) meet product standards before packaging.
• Place pallets and apply proper packaging techniques for finished materials as directed.
• Transport materials to designated areas as required.
• Support extrusion operators with all machine cleaning tasks including saws, tanks, etc., when necessary.
• Communicate daily issues and relevant information to production assistants, assistant operators, operators, and team leaders as needed.
• Follow all plant safety procedures to ensure personal and others' safety.
• Comply with all company policies, practices, and procedures.
• Complete detailed production operator reports.
• Fill out additional quality and production paperwork as necessary.
• Attach labels according to product specifications.
• Perform housekeeping duties in the production area.
• Perform additional duties as needed and/or assigned by leadership.

Education Requirements

High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required.
