Production Assistant (Full-Time)

About the role

The Assistant Production Manager supports the Production Manager in organizing and supervising production activities, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Assist with hiring, training, and evaluating staff
• Monitor work methods to improve productivity and reduce costs
• Ensure adherence to production policies, standards, and budgets
• Coordinate with engineering, sales, and service teams for smooth operations
• Oversee safety, quality, and housekeeping standards
• Support employee relations and disciplinary actions

Requirements

• Some business experience
• High school education required
• Occasional travel

• Good math skills
• Team player with time management skills

Physical & Environmental Demands

• Standing and walking for extended periods
• Lifting up to 60 lbs
