Production Assistant, FOX News Audio

Responsibilities

• Work with Talk Producers to gather research for the HostPitch topics for talk show segments
• Select and edit audio clips in a fast-paced environment
• Write scripts to accompany audio clips
• Produce and post-show clips on social media platforms
• Assist Podcast teams with studio setup as needed
• Greet guests for Talk Show and Podcasts in DC Studios

Requirements

• Prior internship/experience in radio, television or online journalism
• Demonstrated knowledge of current events
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude
• Must be passionate about News
• Bachelor’s degree in Broadcasting, Journalism or Communications
• Basic knowledge of iNews, ENCO and Adobe Audition

Qualifications

Must be able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Skills

Excellent communication skills, ability to work independently, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.
