Responsibilities
- Prepare donations for sorting, pricing, or disposal
- Accept donations from the public and distribute them appropriately, issuing receipts
- Assist in the store by displaying items and managing the display area
- Drive the truck as assigned after completing safety training
- Train and monitor beneficiaries in their work therapy assignments in the warehouse
- Ensure a respectful and dignified atmosphere in the workplace
- Treat customers and donors courteously, answering their questions
- Meet or exceed production quotas set by supervisors
- Keep the work area clean and safe
- Unload trucks and distribute items to the appropriate areas
- Perform other duties as directed by the supervisor
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 21 years old
- Able to lift 50 pounds regularly
- Good people skills
- Ability to follow directions, both written and verbal
- Valid New Mexico driver’s license with a clean MVR
- Pass a criminal background check
