Production Assistant

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review, organize and file all production-related documents
- Double-check forms for completeness and accuracy
- Perform daily data entry and maintain production records
- Aid in coordinating and documenting employee training
- Verify incoming deliveries against packing list and conduct receiving process
- Greet and escort vendors as needed
- Collect and organize production data for reporting and analysis
- Aid in updating and presenting performance metrics
- Support daily and monthly improvement action plans
- Participate in process improvement activities on the production floor
- Help develop and maintain standard procedures and training materials
- Identify opportunities for efficiency, accuracy and waste reduction
- Support cross-functional project execution
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma required
- Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university in technical field such as Food Science or Industrial Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
