Production Assistant (Anodizing), 2nd Shift

Position Summary

The Production Assistant supports the Anodizing department at Branch Medical Group, a subsidiary of Globus Medical Inc. This role involves various manufacturing tasks including visual inspection, part handling, and following instructions.

Essential Functions

• Anodizes, Electro-polishes, Ultrasonic Cleansing, and Passivation of parts
• Racks and un-racks the parts
• Dries off parts with compressed air
• Unpacks and packs finished products
• Visually inspects own work
• Verifies incoming/outgoing product counts
• Follows verbal and written instructions such as blueprints, travelers, SOP's
• Performs general and periodic maintenance of processing lines
• Carries out general housekeeping duties
• Adheres to the company Code of Conduct, AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and other company policies
• Ensures compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations
• Represents the company professionally and maintains high ethical standards

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Able to stand for extended periods of time
• Able to work diligently around chemicals
• Able to perform basic arithmetic
• Able to work under the direction of the production supervisor
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs
• Able to pass an eye exam including a color-blind test
• Willingness and commitment to wear personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Experience with plating or finishing processes is a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Advanced critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office products

Physical Demands

• Sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Lift and/or move up to 20 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally
• Specific vision abilities: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
