Production Assembly Technician

You will own your builds from start to finish and make sure every assembly meets spec before it leaves the building. You do not need to know every product on day one. We will train you on our equipment, processes, and work instructions. If you have some assembly or shop experience, a mechanical mind, and pride in quality work, we would like to hear from you. What You’ll Do Assembly & Fabrication Assemble and test high- and low-pressure hose assemblies to customer specificationsFabricate custom bent tube assemblies, including bending, end forming, and testing (training provided)Build valve stack assemblies using technical drawings and work instructionsConstruct custom panel assemblies with valves, gauges, tubing, and regulatorsAssemble custom extruded aluminum structuresTurn customer concepts and designs into finished, working assemblies Quality & Documentation Inspect your assemblies for quality and completeness before they shipTest assemblies to confirm they meet required specifications and safety standardsKeep accurate build records and complete job orders Safety & Work Area Keep your work area clean, organized, and hazard-freeFollow all safety procedures and protocolsFollow written and verbal work instructions and daily assignments Additional Responsibilities Occasionally visit customer sites to support our sales teamHelp train and onboard new team members as needed What We’re Looking For Previous work experience, preferably in assembly, manufacturing, or a hands-on tradeMechanical aptitude and comfort using hand and power toolsAbility to read and interpret basic drawings and work instructionsStrong attention to detail and pride in quality workAbility to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentBasic computer skillsGood communication skills and a team-player attitudeReliable attendance and punctualityAbility to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift Nice to Have Experience with hydraulic or pneumatic hose assemblyTube bending or fabrication experienceExperience building panels, valve assemblies, or other mechanical assembliesBackground in fluid power, industrial distribution, or manufacturing Exotic Automation & Supply maintains a drug-free workplace, including testing for marijuana.
