Responsibilities
- Assemble parts and components to produce finished products according to company’s specifications
- Perform quality checks on assembled products to ensure they meet the required specifications
- Use power and hand tools to perform assembly tasks
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all company protocols and safety procedures
- Read and interpret technical documents, blueprints and product manuals to understand assembly instructions
- Troubleshoot assembly issues and report any major defects or issues to the supervisor
- Monitor and replenish inventory of necessary assembly materials and parts
- Test assembled products to ensure functionality and performance
- Participate in team meetings and trainings to enhance skills and maintain knowledge of company procedures and products
Qualifications
- 2+ years experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment and ability to recognize problems, collaborate internally, and take ownership to drive positive change
- Self-starter and commitment to being a strong team player who is also comfortable with ambiguity
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
- Able to stay organized and prioritize workload
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite of products
- Attention to details, especially with documentation
- Physically able to lift and move product weighing 50lbs+
