Responsibilities

• Deliver and remove materials to and from production lines safely and timely
• Control all in‑line materials and assist supervisory staff in maintaining adequate stock inventories
• Verify counts of raw materials and finished goods
• Ensure all assigned personnel use company‑supplied PPE and follow safety procedures
• Report potential safety hazards to management and keep the department neat, safe, and orderly
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, including trash removal and disposal of corrugate and excess scrap material
• Set up and run multiple lines and/or machines as needed
• Read and understand shop orders and Bill of Materials
• Interpret relocation sheets, carton labeling procedures, labor reporting, and other required forms
• Help train associates, maintain production rates, and find solutions to production bottlenecks
• Perform other production duties as required

Qualifications

• Ability to work with a wide range of production tools and machinery
• Team‑oriented and respectful work style to efficiently produce quality, fully assembled units
• Fluent in English with basic math and reading skills
• Motivated self‑starter with a sense of urgency
• Flexibility to work 1st or 2nd shift, including overtime when required
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Ability to stand for the entire work shift
• Ability to operate a powered electric pallet jack
• Must be 18 years or older

Pay

This is a union position paying $19.60 per hour. Employees are eligible for overtime pay after 8 hours a day Monday‑Friday and receive time‑and‑a‑half for all hours worked on Saturdays.
