Product Visual Inspector - Part Time or Full Time - No Prior Experience Required (training will be provided)

About the role

You would be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of finished product units by performing detailed inspections, identifying defects, and removing non-conforming products from each batch. This role plays a critical part in upholding quality standards and supporting the organization's mission of improving the lives of animals and those who love them.

Location & schedule

Albany, Ohio (onsite). Part-Time or Full-Time as a Temporary Employee. Pick your schedule – minimum of 4 hours/week, or up to 40 hours/week – Monday–Friday 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM. Project will start on September 14, 2026 and is anticipated to run through January 2027.

How you'll make an impact

• Visually inspect final container products (vials, syringes, ampules, etc.) for particles, defects, and irregularities
• Segregate and flag non-conforming units per Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)
• Document inspection results in batch records/quality systems
• Report defects or anomalies to Quality personnel
• Maintain a clean, organized inspection workstation
• Follow gowning, safety, and cGMP requirements

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to pass visual acuity screening (near vision, color discrimination)
• Strong attention to detail; comfortable with repetitive tasks
• Prior manufacturing/production experience is a plus, but not required
• Extended standing/sitting at an inspection station
• Ability to wear cleanroom gowning where required

Pay

$18.00 per hour
