Product Technical Marketing Manager
About the role
This role sits at the intersection of product, engineering, and go-to-market. You will help shape how SambaNova explains its technology to the market by turning complex technical ideas into usable narratives, content, and enablement. The right candidate is not a pure marketer — they are a technical translator and builder who is comfortable getting deep on AI inference, accelerators, workloads, and customer-facing technical storytelling.
Responsibilities
- Build technical messaging, presentations, demos, collateral, and enablement content for AI infrastructure and inference use cases
- Explain complex hardware and inference concepts clearly, including memory bandwidth, interconnect, quantization, throughput vs. latency, and cost-per-token tradeoffs
- Partner closely with product, engineering, developer relations, sales, solutions, and field teams to develop narratives that are both technically accurate and commercially useful
- Support launches, customer conversations, benchmarking discussions, and technical field enablement
- Translate product and architecture details into materials that help customers, partners, and sellers understand why the platform matters
- Collect market and field feedback to sharpen positioning, proof points, and educational content over time
Requirements
3–8 years of experience in technical product marketing, technical marketing engineering, solutions architecture, field applications engineering, developer marketing, or a closely related role
Strong technical fluency in semiconductors, accelerators, AI infrastructure, datacenter systems, or inference workloads
Ability to understand and communicate hardware tradeoffs for large-model inference in a technically credible way
Proven ability to create customer-facing or field-facing technical content, demos, presentations, training materials, or educational assets
Strong cross-functional instincts and the ability to work effectively with engineering, product, sales, and customer-facing teams
Scrubby, startup-oriented mindset with comfort operating in ambiguity and high-ownership environments
Qualifications
- Experience in AI/ML infrastructure, GPU or accelerator ecosystems, datacenter hardware, or performance-sensitive systems
- Hands-on familiarity with benchmarking, workload optimization, proof-of-concepts, or technical competitive positioning
- Public teaching signal such as blog posts, talks, demos, documentation, LinkedIn content, or other technical communication
- Experience supporting sales enablement, partner enablement, or developer and community education
Preferred Qualifications
- Bay Area-based or excited to work closely with a Bay Area team
Pay
Base Salary Range: $160,000—$190,000 USD
