Product Systems Validation Engineer

Entry-level position focused on verifying and validating the functionality of Cummins' products across various customer requirements and applications. This role involves planning, tracking, and evaluating results from analyses and functional tests to assess product risk and performance. The Test Engineer will participate in a rotational program to gain experience with engine and engine systems, developing technical skills and contributing to product quality before reaching customers.

Responsibilities

• Obtain input and negotiate with stakeholders to define technical requirements.
• Deliver an optimized component-based analytical and experimental verification plan.
• Investigate and address potential component concerns or issues.
• Apply and support the improvement of technical processes and tools.
• Provide independent execution of established work processes and systems.
• Contribute effectively toward team goals and exhibit influence within the work group.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or an appropriate STEM field is required.
• Entry-level or early career professional status is preferred.
• Relevant experience in a temporary student employment environment or as an early career professional in a technical discipline is preferred.
• Knowledge of MS Office tools is preferred.
• Candidates must meet U.S. Early Careers Eligibility Requirements.

$67,200 - $100,800 per year
