About the role

Join a leading dealer of John Deere construction equipment in a supportive and dynamic environment that values innovation, collaboration, and customer service. As the face of our company, you’ll build strong, lasting relationships with customers through regular on-site visits and exceptional support. Proactively follow up on equipment, parts, and service sales, provide solutions to customer concerns, identify new aftermarket sales opportunities, and deliver technical guidance when needed. Play a key role in creating an outstanding customer experience while growing and developing your assigned territory to maximize market share, customer loyalty, and sales success.

Responsibilities

  • Build strong customer relationships through regular on-site visits, proactive follow-up support, and responsive communication.
  • Develop and expand the assigned territory to maximize market potential, customer satisfaction, and sales performance.
  • Promote and sell OEM and aftermarket ground engaging tools, undercarriage components, wear parts, repair services, extended warranties, maintenance plans, machine inspections, overhauls, job quotes, and special parts promotions.
  • Conduct follow-up visits and calls on equipment, parts, and service sales to ensure customer satisfaction, identify additional sales opportunities, address customer concerns, and provide effective solutions.
  • Partner with the Sales Department to ensure equipment performance meets or exceeds customer expectations.
  • Provide introductions and limited technical support for John Deere Worksite Solutions.
  • Complete all assigned training and stay current on products, services, and industry developments.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in sales, service, training, or related roles within the heavy equipment or construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of parts, machinery, and equipment applications.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with a professional, solution-oriented mindset.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office, CRM tools, and staying current with digital sales tools and telematics.
  • Ability to travel throughout assigned territory and work flexible hours as needed.
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record, as travel is part of the role.
