Skills
- At least 1 year of engineering experience with proficiency in at least one backend language.
- Interest in learning and coding in Typescript is ideal.
- Experience with SQL and REST APIs.
- Excellent written communication skills paired with the ability to use them to collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams.
- Knowledge of payment systems (e.g. card processing, ACH), familiarity with AWS, and shell scripting experience with bash, zsh or similar.
About the role
We are looking for a Production Support Engineer who can help bridge the gap between Engineering and our Customer Experience team. Your responsibilities will include:
- Using AI to identify and implement operational improvements and efficiencies to build the future of Production Support.
- Investigating and resolving complex production issues that affect user experience.
- Interfaceing with critical vendor systems using a mix of SQL and API calls to research customer complaints.
- Committing fixes to our backend systems.
- Acting as an engineering consultant for our Operations team to automate manual processes.
