Product Support Advisor - Grocery

About the role

Support the department in achieving company goals through high-end customer order fulfillment and inventory management to minimize DSO. Responsible for implementing corporate category strategies within the operation company (OpCo), supporting sales staff with product updates, training, and informational inquiries.

Responsibilities

• Drive category initiatives, manage supplier relationships, and execute assortment changes aligned with corporate requirements
• Execute category management
• Support supplier negotiations
• Facilitate assortment training
• Manage local supplier and broker relationships
• Drive promotional activities
• Support inventory depletion
• Increase Sysco Brand sales
• Manage pricing strategies
• Collaborate with revenue teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience in retail, wholesale, or distribution
