About the role
On-site in New York, NY Our client seeks an AdTech-focused Product Strategist to define the future-state vision for a modernized Ad Sales and AdTech ecosystem. The role will bridge business workflows, data strategy, and product direction to reimagine processes, drive innovation, and guide the client toward a materially improved way of working rather than rebuilding legacy systems. Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis.
Responsibilities
- Lead the strategy for a next-generation AdTech and Ad Sales platform, defining what the new system should become and how it should operate.
- Drive product thinking and data-driven decision-making, filling the current gap in product ownership and data strategy.
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand pain points and translate them into forward-looking product options and solution paths.
- Provide innovative recommendations rather than simply taking direction, challenging assumptions and proposing improved workflows.
- Envision and articulate the art of the possible across AdTech, Ad Sales, and data workflows, grounded in industry best practices.
- Serve as the bridge between business process owners, data teams, and application development teams to ensure alignment and clarity.
- Evaluate multiple approaches to solving business problems and present structured options with clear trade-offs.
- Apply deep AdTech and Ad Sales workflow knowledge, including order management, planning, trafficking, sales reporting, and related operational processes.
- Collaborate closely with the Business Analyst to pair process understanding with data and product strategy in a two-in-a-box model.
- Take ownership of overall product direction to ensure modernization results in a system that is materially better, not just a technical rebuild.
