Product Specialist - BMW of Monrovia

Responsibilities

• Provides a pressure-free ownership experience that helps guests understand the operation, benefits, and value of BMW innovations and engineering advantages, fostering a stronger emotional connection to the brand.
• Assesses customer knowledge and priorities to personalize the ownership experience.
• Explains and demonstrates vehicle features and technologies, focusing on customer comfort level and retention.
• Acquires and maintains comprehensive product knowledge on all vehicles and understands competitors' vehicle features and benefits.
• Stays updated on new products, features, accessories, and their benefits to clients.
• Follows up with customers within one to two weeks after delivery to answer questions or conduct additional clinics to teach feature operations.
• Directs customers to additional information resources.
• Delivers a delightful ownership experience.

Service Support Duties

• Visits the customer lounge to introduce services and share valuable vehicle technology insights with customers.
• Trains the sales and service staff on key technologies and how to best explain and demonstrate them to customers.
• Conducts new owner clinics.
• Answers product questions on the telephone and during walk-ins.
• Troubleshoots vehicle technology features.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to perform at a minimum volume according to dealership standards.
• Must be authorized to work in the USA.
• Must perform duties and responsibilities in a safe manner.
• Must pass pre-employment testing, including background checks, MVR, drug test, credit report, and possess a valid driver's license.

Pay

Pay scale consists of the following elements:

• Base Hourly Compensation: $0.00.
• Commission Compensation: Based on the value or amount of closed sales, starting at $0.00 (if no sales are made) with no upper limit other than sales performance.
• Production Bonus: Based on individual or team performance, ranging from $0.00 (if baseline benchmarks are not met) with no fixed upper limit.
