About the role

As a Product Sourcing Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the production components for radar and sensor manufacturing lines are sourced efficiently and reliably.

Responsibilities

  • Determine suppliers for production components, adhering to Anduril's approved supplier list.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and engineering teams to qualify components and resolve supply issues.
  • Develop and maintain the manufacturing bill of materials (BOM) with Quality and Manufacturing to ensure smooth production.
  • Manage part availability in the ERP/MRP system, communicating needs to Purchasing and Production.
  • Conduct BOM risk assessments and identify alternate components to mitigate supply risks.
  • Rationalize sourcing to reduce complexity and improve commonality.
  • Analyze supplier performance and contribute to cost awareness initiatives.
  • Create and refine sourcing policies, standards, and processes for the production line.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain, business, or a related technical field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in supply chain, sourcing, procurement, or a related manufacturing role.
  • Experience with purchasing & procurement processes, including MLQs and volume price breaks.
  • Hands-on experience working in an ERP/MRP system (e.g., NetSuite).
  • Strong supplier management, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Procurement of custom parts and supplier management experience.
  • Broad experience across commodities, particularly in the PCBA space.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with a focus on speed and accuracy.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, both technical and non-technical.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience sourcing electronics and/or mechanical components, especially for RF/sensor or complex hardware.
  • Familiarity with BOM development, component qualification.
  • Exposure to value / procurement engineering, should-cost / clean-sheet models, or TCO work.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, or Six Sigma principles.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, startup-like environment; familiarity with FAR/DFAR regulations.
  • Experience with change management and supply-risk management.

Pay

$86,000—$112,000 USD
