Product Solutions Engineer | Observability

About the role

The successful candidate will own Observability's market development in the Americas, targeting key accounts, running product demos and discovery sessions, building OEM and embed partnerships, translating customer feedback into product decisions, and representing the product externally.

Responsibilities

• Target accounts, demos, technical pre-sales, and proof-of-value engagements
• Run product demos and discovery sessions
• Source and shape OEM and embed partnerships
• Translate customer signal into prioritized roadmap input for the engineering team in Europe
• Represent Observability externally at conferences, in webinars, and through written thought leadership
• Use AI tooling in your day-to-day (demo prep, account research, competitive teardowns) to move faster than a traditional field PM

Requirements

• 3+ years in a field-facing role: Field PM, Sales Engineering, Solutions Architect, or Technical PMM
• Comfortable owning a live demo and a technical discovery call without a backstop
• Technical depth in either observability / data tooling (Datadog, Grafana, New Relic, Honeycomb, etc.) or video streaming and media tech
• Track record of turning customer conversations into product decisions
• Willing to take EU-morning calls a few times per week and travel ~25–30%
• Experience launching a new product or category into an existing customer base
• Hands-on use of AI tooling in your workflow today (Cursor, Claude, custom agents, etc.)
• Prior exposure to OEM, embed, or partnership-led GTM motions
