Product Security Officer

About the Role

This position is responsible for providing technical support and expertise to customers, sales teams, and distributors regarding Werfen's product portfolio. The role involves troubleshooting, training, and ensuring customer satisfaction with diagnostic solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical phone and on-site support for Werfen instruments and assays.
• Conduct customer training sessions on product usage, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to support product demonstrations and installations.
• Document and resolve customer complaints in compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
• Participate in validation studies and technical evaluations at customer sites.
• Escalate complex technical issues to R&D or manufacturing teams as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Biology, Chemistry, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a clinical laboratory or diagnostic technical support role.
• Strong knowledge of hemostasis, acute care, or immunoassay diagnostics.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.

Qualifications

• Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT/MLS) preferred.
• Experience with Werfen product lines (e.g., ACL TOP, HemoCell, or ROTEM) is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with ISO 13485 and FDA regulatory requirements for medical devices.

Pay

• Annual base salary range: $75,000 – $95,000, depending on experience and location.

Schedule

• Full-time, Monday–Friday, standard business hours with on-call rotation for urgent support.
