Product Security Lead

For our client, we are seeking a Product Security Lead to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space. This role will shape the product security strategy and help embed security-by-design across the engineering lifecycle. You will partner closely with engineering, product, sales, and customer-facing teams to strengthen cloud and platform protections while supporting trust with customers and stakeholders. The position also plays a key role in translating regulatory expectations into practical controls and advancing the organization’s overall security maturity. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $125,000 – $150,000 annually Responsibilities Define and lead the vision and roadmap for product security Embed security-by-design into the engineering lifecycle Fortify cloud and platform architecture against threats Oversee risk identification and vulnerability management Support sales and customer security reviews while showcasing security maturity Translate regulatory requirements into practical security controls Collaborate on product telemetry and secure deployment patterns Qualifications 5-7 years of experience in application, product, or cloud security Strong background in Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC) practices Deep knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Proven history of securing IoT and cloud-native architectures Ability to influence without authority across various stakeholders Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills Experience with security assessment tools like OWASP and CSET Benefits Comprehensive health benefits from day one 24/7 virtual healthcare access RRSP/401K matching plan Variable incentive plan linked to company success Flexible vacation policy and unique employee time-off days Support for remote work and internet subsidy Enhanced leave for new parents Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
