About the role

Join our team as a Product Security Engineer - PSIRT. As a member of the PSIRT team, you will be responsible for managing and responding to security incidents, coordinating with external parties, and ensuring the security of our products.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and respond to security incidents, including coordinating with external parties and providing technical guidance.
  • Develop and maintain security policies and procedures to ensure the security of our products.
  • Conduct security assessments and penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities and improve security measures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the security of our products throughout their lifecycle.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and technologies, and implement appropriate countermeasures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in product security, incident response, or a similar field.
  • Experience with security tools and technologies such as SIEM, vulnerability scanners, and incident response frameworks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Qualifications

  • Experience with Linux operating systems and scripting languages like Python or Bash.
  • Knowledge of common security protocols and standards, such as PCI DSS, HIPAA, and GDPR.
  • Experience with threat intelligence platforms and analysis tools.
  • Understanding of web application security principles and practices.
