Product Security Engineer II

This role will lead technical work focused on secure, reliable systems and risk-aware execution. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

• Partner with teams to identify and frame application security risks
• Read application code and logs to assess security vulnerabilities
• Contribute code changes and automation to improve application security processes
• Engage in code reviews on GitHub and participate in remediation tracking
• Evaluate and prioritize vulnerabilities from various sources
• Help manage vulnerability workflows, including triage and reporting
• Translate security findings into actionable guidance and documentation

Qualifications

• 0-2+ years of experience in application security or related fields
• Foundational programming ability in languages like Python or JavaScript
• Comfortable reading and reasoning about unfamiliar application code
• Experience with version control using Git and GitHub
• Hands-on experience in building or securing software, including internships or personal projects
• Ability to write scripts for practical problem-solving
• Foundational understanding of common security risks like OWASP Top 10

Pay

$133,000 – $183,000 annually
