Location: One Village Center Drive, Van Buren Township, MI 48111 (hybrid – must live within a reasonable commuting distance). Up to 15% domestic and international travel.
About the role
Visteon seeks a Product Security Architect to design and lead process improvements for Product Cyber Security Management across the end-to-end product development lifecycle, integrating industry standards and solutions into our processes and products.
Responsibilities
- Develop roadmaps for Visteon Security Platforms through security features.
- Collaborate with Systems Architecture and Software organization leadership to review, design, and evaluate Visteon Security Products.
- Provide Cyber Security Architecture guidance and direct Product Delivery teams on security features, working with architects and developers to design secure systems and software, security specifications, user stories, and verification cycles.
- Define security requirements for supplier products.
- Represent Visteon with Customer Security Teams to address requirements, ensure process compliance, and resolve delivery issues.
- Establish and grow the Cyber Security team in North America, including hiring, onboarding, and performance management.
- Represent the Global Cyber Security team in the Quote Process, RFIs, and RFQs.
- Work on DevSecOps initiatives, source operations coordination, and new concept items such as Technology Roadmap reviews.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, Information Systems, Cyber Security, or a related field.
- Five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience as a Product Security Architect, Product Security Engineer, Software Security Engineer, Software Developer, or related role.
Skills
- Five years of experience designing and building systems/software.
- Three years of experience working with product security elements.
- Experience with automotive cybersecurity processes, Vulnerability, Threat Analysis, and Risk Assessment (TARA).
- Experience with security concepts for authenticated boot, secure networking, and system hardening.
- Experience with cybersecurity requirements analysis.
- Experience with cryptography, tools, and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI).
- Experience with programming languages, including C and C alternatives.
