About the Role

As a member of the Cottonelle Flushable Wipes Research & Development team you will work to identify and commercialize product innovations aligned to consumer and business needs, and support product development for current in-market products within the Family Care business. The individual in this role will work on a team and collaborate broadly across the organization to drive innovation from initial ideas, through pilot scale development, and onto commercial assets.

Responsibilities

  • Support and execute product development initiatives from concept through commercialization, with a primary focus on delivering innovative, consumer-preferred products.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D project leads, Marketing, Manufacturing, Quality, Legal, Insights & Analytics, and other key stakeholders to ensure product designs meet strategic requirements and brand objectives.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive learning plans, utilizing consumer and technical studies to optimize product performance and substantiation of benefits and claims.
  • Support and manage product testing, including technical evaluations, Home Use Tests (HUTs), and product safety testing; analyze data and document learning.
  • Champion product innovation by integrating consumer insights, technical feasibility, and business needs; ensure that product and packaging meet regulatory, safety, and quality standards.
  • Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of product specifications, industry trends, and competitive landscape; analyze and interpret technical data to improve product attributes and reduce costs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or science related discipline
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently to complete assignments and related activities in an acceptable manner
  • Strong Communication skills – for internal and external stakeholder collaboration
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, prioritize and support projects on a self-directed basis
  • Demonstrated ability to perform in a team-oriented environment
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to travel up to 25%, including domestic and international travel

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1 year or more of related experience
  • Fundamental understanding of product and consumer test methods

Pay

Salary Range: 79,880 – 94,440 USD. Along with base pay, this position offers eligibility for a target bonus and a comprehensive benefits suite, including our 401(k) and Profit Sharing plan. The anticipated base pay range for this role is provided for a fully qualified hire. Actual pay will depend on several factors, such as location, role, skills, performance, and experience. Please note that the stated pay range applies to US locations only.
