About the role
We are seeking a Product Quality Assurance Engineer to supervise the quality, integrity, and consistency of printed cards, packaging, and game products. This person will collaborate consistently alongside Product Engineering, R&D, Brand/Marketing, and Hasbro Far East offices. This position is a hybrid role based out of the Renton, WA office location. On-site Tuesday-Thursday.
What You'll Do
- Develop and implement quality assurance procedures/protocols to ensure consistent product quality throughout the manufacturing process.
- Collaborate with design, engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to establish quality criteria and specifications for new products.
- Conduct detailed inspections and testing of raw materials, components, and finished products to verify compliance.
- Analyze data and performance metrics to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement in manufacturing processes.
- Investigate customer complaints or product returns and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
- Supervise production processes and equipment to identify potential sources of defects or deviations from quality standards, proposing and implementing solutions to mitigate risks.
- Work with suppliers and vendors to ensure the reliability of incoming materials used in production.
- Document and maintain detailed records of quality inspections, test results, and corrective actions taken.
- Provide training and mentorship to supply chain partners on procedures, standard processes, and quality control techniques.
- Stay informed about industry developments, technological advancements, and regulatory changes.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree or 3-5 years equivalent experience in engineering, quality assurance, or a related field.
- Previous experience in quality assurance/control, or a similar role within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Solid understanding of quality management systems, quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001), and regulatory requirements relevant to the industry.
- Experience in chemical safety testing requirements and CPSC regulations.
- Global regulatory labeling experience.
- Proficiency in QA tools and methodologies, such as statistical process control (SPC), failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA), and root cause analysis (RCA).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and implement effective solutions.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills along with ability to effectively work with multi-functional teams and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical collaborators.
- Attention to detail and a dedication to upholding high standards of quality and excellence.
- Certifications such as Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt may be advantageous.

$102,300 - $153,400 USD
