About the role

The Product Program Support Specialist supports growth and member retention for the annual Cookie and Fall Product Programs by coordinating key tasks and projects that enhance Girl Scout engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality, responsive member and customer support in-person, by email, and by phone.
  • Maintains customer relationship management database (Salesforce) by entering information quickly and accurately, participate in efforts to improve efficiency.
  • Supports the execution of key strategies to support Girl Scout participation and engagement.
  • Relationship-building with members and program partners.
  • Logistical support for program rewards, events, and cookie booth recruitment.
  • Aid with member inquiries for online Product Program management systems (Smart Cookies, Digital Cookie, and M2OS).

  • A self-starter who can work independently with minimal oversight; is flexible, adaptable, self-manager, organized, and has a strong attention to detail; thrives in an ever-changing and fast-paced environment.
  • Utilize technology tools to effectively conduct virtual internal and external meetings and programs.
  • Prominent oral and written communication abilities; demonstrated ability to work with a wide range of sensitive and confidential issues and communicate effectively with a diverse group of girls, volunteers, and staff.
  • Able to coordinate multiple projects while managing conflicting priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent independent decision-making skills and strong resourcefulness.
  • Excellent technical computer skills in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook as well as databases.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends as required by position responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • Two years professional experience, preferably in areas such as customer service, communications, volunteer support, program delivery, and retail services.

Benefits

Flexible schedule including a mix of daytime, evening, and occasional weekend hours based on program needs.

In-office as needed/directed by supervisor, with occasional travel to program sites/events.

Reliable transportation required.

Physical requirements: sufficient eye-to-hand coordination to successfully operate a computer keyboard. Ability to sit upright for extended periods of time. Sufficient visual acuity to make appropriate judgments about Girl Scout materials. Ability to travel to and/or attend offsite meetings. Physical ability to frequently stop, kneel, bend, crouch, reach overhead, grasp, push, pull, lift, and move objects up to 50 pounds at shoulder height, and occasionally lift more than 50 pounds. Demonstrated normal depth perception. See and read printed materials, with or without visual aids; distinguish colors; read and understand rules and policies, labels, and instructions. Verbal communication includes the ability to speak and hear at normal room levels.

Pay

$22.00- $24.00/hour

Schedule

Part-time, approximately 20 hours per week, year-round. Schedule includes a mix of daytime, evening, and occasional weekend hours based on program needs.
